“Rainbow’s End” was sung by by Michael Sembello in the key of E major (E), but the album liner notes attributed the lead vocals to Dan Sembello, brother of Michael Sembello, as Don Freeman, who played the Hohner Clavinet during the recording sessions and one of the composers of the song, confirmed that Michael Sembello was the lead vocalist on this recording.
